My blog experience

Hi friends, I never had a blog before, but I think is a good way to write about some things and see the posts of the other people. I think is a good way to practice writing in english and in this semester I have learnt new vocabulary and grammar in english. This is a new experience to me, in  school I never wrote texts in english, I only had tests of  alternatives or short answers test. So I think  this helped me a lot to improve my skills in writing in english, but I have to learn many thing still.

I would like to that we can write about topics that  interest us, because it is more entertaining than write about a topic already chosen. I would like to write about science, music or sports, because these things like me a lot. Mostly write about sports, I like play football, tenis and swimming. But the science like me a lot too, for example the anatomy and histology are very interesting topics to me,  and there are a lot of cientific publications in english about these topic and in the semester I had  to read them.

Well I liked this experience of writing in a blog, and I hope we have a good end of semester, bye friends.

The first match of each group in Brazil 2014

Hi classmates today I going to talk about the Fifa world cup Brazil 2014. Well the last week began this tournament and I like  watch football  on tv, since last thursday 2 or 3 matches there are every day on tv. Until today I have liked some of the first matches of each group, like Netherlands vs Spain, Chile vs Australia, Germany vs Portugal, England vs Italy. These matches are the best until today because these teams played a very atractive football, so these matches are very entertaining for the people.

The match that I liked most was Chile vs Australia, it was on Friday 13 of June at 6 pm.  I saw the match with my brother in my house, we buy things to eat and we enjoy the game. The match began very well to Chile, in the first 20 minutes Chile scored 2 goals and the players were playing very good shape. Then in the end to the first half defense was missed and Australia scored a goal. In the second half the match was very disputed and not were easy to play, the player were tired due to the hot climate. But at discounts Chile scored the third goal and finished the match. I was very happy for the victory.

I hope Chile will win the next matches against Netherlands and Spain. Bye friends (:

The best experience in the semester

Hello eveybody today I am going to talk about the  people that I have known in this semestre in the faculty. Before entering  the university I did not have many friends and now I  have a nice group of friends in the faculty. In the begin of the semester I already knew a some classmates from the school, so we were a group formed by Jose, Diego, Nicolas, Bastian,  Paulo, Sebastian and me,  but we were only us. Now with the pass of the time we have a great group formed by  other classmates and us. They are  greats friends, I like so much to be with them, they are  very good persons and they make me feel so nice. In this group we help us with the things that we have to do for the career and this is important because in this way we complement each other. The members of this group are my friends of the school and many classmates mainly classmates of the group of practic class, because we pass the most of the time in the week together.

I have affection for my group of friends and I hope that we can continue helping us and finish the first semester well.

A great person, Ronald Motzfeld

The doctor Ronald Motzfeld is a teacher at Universidad de Chile, he has not had an easy life because years ago he had a car accident and since that day his life changed. On that sad day he and his wife were traveling to Ovalle, and unfortunately they had a terrible accident, that injured him spinal cord so he has to use a wheelchair and the most regrettable was his wife died in the accident. So since that day he has had to raise their children without her.

Then he had a rehabilitation time and tried to return  have  a common life.  In shortly he returned to ride a car, travelling and he resumed his consultation and classes at Univesidad de Chile, where he completed 40 years of teaching. In the first days of classes when he did a class I was wondering what that had happened him, and I saw he was so happy doing the class and  was interested to teach us in the best way. Then when I read his history I thought he is a great and admirable person, he could recover from this terrible episode in his life and get on with his profession and his life.

The doctor Motzfeld is an academic of Department of Restorative Dentistry in Facultad de Odontologia de la  Universidad de Chile and he published a book called Intoduccion a la Odontologia in 2005. And his consultation is in Street Huérfanos, 1022 Of. 808 Metro Station Plaza de Armas.

MCFC is Premier League champion!

In the begin of this post  I say  am happy because the Manchester City Football Club is the new champion of the Barclays Premier League. The final match was the Sunday 11th May in the Ethiad Stadium and was a nice game of football,  scored Samir Nasri And Vincent Kompany the goals of the victory. The match was against West Ham United Football Club, was a difficult game because the visit team adopted a very defensive tactic of game, so the MCFM did not play in its best way. But the local team insisted in a lot of opportunities to score a goal, up to in the mid hour of match Samir Nasri scored a fantastic goal. Then in the first 5 minutes of second half in a corner kick the captain of the club Vincent Kompany scored the second goal to MCFC and all the stadium began to celebrate the obtention of the title. So then the time passed  and finally sounded the final whistle. The new champion was MCFC. A lot of fans in the stadium invaded the field to celebrated with the players. The season was difficult, there were others team that wanted win the title, but in the final of tournament won MCFC. I like so much the form to direct the team Manuel Pellegrini, I hope in the next season the club can win other titles and  have a good performance in the next Champions League.

In the begin of this post I can say that I am  Manchester city football club`s fan. The club is from England and now is one of the best team in the Barclays Premier League. The Chilean Manuel Pellegrini is the Manchester City footbal club`s manager and his job have been very productive because the team is fighting to win the title of Barclays Premier League and is so near to reach it.
In this photograph appears Yaya Toure, is one of the best players in the club and one of the best central midfielder  players in the world.
This photograph was taken at 27th of april in this year, in this moment Yaya Toure was celebrating a goal that he scored, was the second goal from Manchester City football club in the victory against Crystal Palace football club.
It was taken for a club`s employe and was publicated in the official facebook page of the club.
I hope the club can win the Barclays Premier League.

The student strike in Facultad de Odontologia

In these last days, about a week, that we had not have classes for the student strike I  did a lot of things that I have not did if I had have normal classes, like I met with classmates that I have talked them in less occasion, because I had more time to do other activities with them. The strike student not mean do not go to university because the students have no classes, I think is important to go because to this way the students can participate in the assembly about the student's demands or information to the student strike. There are other things that the students can do, for example participate in some workshop or activity. In the days I went to university I participated in some assemblies, in some activities like a baby football tournament. I think was a great experience played with the classmates and  we had a good participation in the tournament, was an entertaiment afternoon. Well now the student strike finished and my classmates and me will return to the normal classes from the next monday. I wish we have a good return to the classes.

The technological object that is necesary to me

In the present the technology is so advanced and while time pass the companies invent new products that are  better than  the presents technological objects.
I have a mobile phone and think is so necesary to me. I bought it about two years ago and it was very useful to me. In my mobile phone can do a lot of things, for example conecct to internet to review mi e-mail, u-cursos, facebook or other internet page. Besides I can download some archives that I need in the university. I can take photograps and record videos with it, that is so necesary to practic class in the laboratory or take photos in any other place. Other thing that I can do whit it is listen music, particularly when I travel in subway to go to university. So for all this my mobile phone like me and is necesary to me, I think if I lost it was complicated and I try to buy other as rapid as possible.

My expectations fot this semester

Stay in the university is a new stage in my life, I changed the place where I have studied for 7 years and school classmates too, but here there are 3 school classmates and it so great. Well in the begin of my university semester  I have known a nice friends and the university ambient like me. I was a good student in the school and here I pretend do that too, but is more difficult because I have to study a lot for the subjects like Base biologicas, Bases anatomicas, Quimica and Fisica. There are more subjects like Ingles and Destrezas de odontologia. In this moment I do not take extracurricular activities because I am acustomed to the pace to study.
I hope in the other semester take a extracurricular activities, some sport maybe. So this is my begin university semester. I expect to have a good semester.

About ED

My full name is Edgardo Andres Aravena Leyton, I am 19 years old. My friends call me Ed. I live with my family in Santiago, in Pudahuel. I was born here on Febraury 3rd 1995. My family consist in my parents,  my brother and me. Their names are Sergio, Mireya and Oliver. We live in a beautiful house, onto a square surrounded by trees. We have a pet, is a dog and it`s name is rex, it  about 12 years. Our house is near to a central avenue of Pudahuel sur, and a metro station too, Laguna Sur station of line 5.
I studied first in a school near to house called Antilhue de Pudahuel, then when I was 12 years old changed to Liceo de Alicacion, located in Ricardo Cumming Street. I was two years in this place, then I changed to Instituto Nacional, located in downtown Santiago. In this place I was for 5 years and now I study in Universidad de Chile, Facultad de Odontologia. I studied a lot last year to enter this carrer, I like it so much.
I like sports like football, ping pong, natation and like  the music too, I play guitar since 3 years ago and I want learn more about this.
